Debbie Miller joined Celestar Holdings Corporation in January, 2013 as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Military Affairs Coordinator. Within a short period of time, Debbie assumed other duties to include Contracts Administrator and Corporate Secretary. In July, 2015, Debbie was promoted to Business Relationship Manager and is responsible for implementing and managing Celestar’s business relationships and military affairs programs, in addition to developing and executing a comprehensive internal and external communications and community strategy to enhance Celestar’s corporate reputation.
Debbie came to Celestar with over 15 years of business experience supporting C-suite executives for both small and large companies. Debbie has over 10 years’ experience serving as a corporate paralegal and Notary Public. In her roles at Celestar, Debbie is heavily involved with numerous military support and national defense organizations in order to honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom. She assists in building relationships between MacDill AFB and the Tampa Bay community by coordinating events and programs to honor our military and assist veterans in the transition from military to civilian status. She plays a critical role in helping to keep our veterans working and living in the Tampa Bay area.
Ms. Miller currently serves as President for the Women in Defense Greater Tampa Bay Chapter, she also serves as Second Vice President and Woman Outreach Leader for The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Pelican Chapter EXCOM. She has served on the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Military Council and Chaired the Military Council Events and Recognition Committee in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She is also a member of the local NDIA Chapter as well as other military support organizations within the Tampa Bay area.
She was presented with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Bob Cutler Military Volunteer of the Year award on February 25, 2015 for her volunteer work supporting the military, as well as being presented with Outstanding AFCEAN 1st Half of 2015 by the AFCEA Pelican Chapter on August 20, 2015, recognized for her military contributions by Operation Helping Hand in February, 2016 and was named AFCEAN of the Month by AFCEA International in July, 2017. Ms. Miller served as the Honorary Commander of the 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 6th Air Mobility Wing at MacDill AFB from September 18, 2015 thru October 1, 2017 and continues to support MacDill AFB in multiple roles. Most recently, Ms. Miller was awarded the AFCEA International Meritorious Service Award and presented with the award in Baltimore on 14 May 2018.
