4th Annual Veterans Entrepreneurship Training Symposium (VETS)

This annual one day event (during Veterans Day week), provide Veterans, active duty service members, their spouses, and business partners with an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about and explore the field of entrepreneurship and self-employment, while connecting with other entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community resources. Now in its fourth year, the VETS event has served over 1,000 attendees, and community partners. This event is 100% sponsored and is provided at no cost to the attendees.  The symposium features networking in the morning followed by keynote speakers, and a catered lunch. The afternoon revolves around a series of high impact workshops led by subject matter experts on various topics related to entrepreneurship. The capstone event for the day is a “shark tank” Business Pitch Competition, where Veterans pitch their early stage businesses or business ideas for cash prizes.

As with any event, especially an event completely free to our Veterans HCC is in need of sponsorship. Below are the links to VETS sponsor opportunities and the Eventbrite link to the event.
