Veterans Council of Hillsborough County Field of Honor Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park and Rear Admiral LeRoy Collins, Jr. Veterans Museum.  The following names will be read during the ceremony:  Six U. S. Military personnel killed in Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq and Syria); Eight U.S. Military personnel killed in Operation Freedom’s Sentinel (Afghanistan); and a U.S. Marine Corps F/A 18 Fighter Pilot killed while training off the coast of Japan.  The event also will feature:  A tribute to fallen law enforcement officers of 2016; Missing Man Formation flyover by Ye Mystic Airkrewe; Rifle salute and taps by the Riverview Detachment of the Marine Corps League and Gold Star Banner presentation by the Blue Star Mothers of Tampa Bay, Inc.  For more information on the Veterans Memorial Park and Museum, call (813) 744-5502, or Hillsborough County’s Veterans Services at (813) 246-3170.
