Celestar Adds a Senior Financial Advisor to the Board

Celestar Corporation, a knowledge and technology consulting company focused on providing innovative solutions to our clients in the government and commercial markets, announced the addition of a new member, B. Terry Aidman, to its corporate Advisory Board.
“Terry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our board and will help guide us through possible acquisitions over the next couple of years,” says Gregory Celestan, CEO of Celestar Corporation.

As a Certified Public Accountant with diverse experience, he provides strategic accounting and business services to privately-held and publicly-traded clients across a spectrum of industries. Also, as a Certified Merger and Acquisitions Advisor, he also provides corporate financial advisory and transition services to mid-market clients, representing their interests in sales, mergers and acquisitions, and providing strategic business planning and management consulting services.

Mr. Aidman developed a leading position in Tampa Bay as the Managing Partner of Aidman, Piser & Company, serving mid-market businesses, entrepreneurs and publicly-traded corporations. He also previously served as both the director of tax services and as Managing Partner for the Tampa Bay offices of an international accounting firm.

He attended Southern Methodist University and graduated from the University of South Florida (“USF”) with a degree in Accounting. He currently serves on and is past chair of the USF School of Accountancy Advisory Board, and is a member of the USF President’s Council and an honorary member of Beta Alpha Psi. He has also served on the advisory boards of the Accounting Conferences of both USF and the University of Florida.

Mr. Aidman was recently named Executive in Residence for the School of Business at USF where he also serves on the Dean’s executive advisory board. Mr. Aidman also serves as a member of Vistage (formerly The Executive Committee), an international organization dedicated to the effectiveness of CEOs.

Mr. Aidman has taught, lectured and written articles on a variety of accounting topics. In addition to serving as an editorial advisor for the Journal of Accountancy, his credits include a weekly tax column, a monthly “Tax Tip” for regional television, and a monthly video presentation for a national education program.

Active in the local community, he received both The American Institute of Certified accountants, (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Public Service Awards for his commitment to community service. He has served on the boards of numerous civic, professional, social and religious organizations, including past service as president of his congregation and chairman of Tampa’s Convention Center Board. He has served on numerous boards including the Board of Governors for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and as chairman of the Tampa Downtown Partnership.
