Veterans Day Ceremony

The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony on 9 November in Joe Chillura Courthouse Square.  Celestar was honored to be a sponsor for this great event. Thank you to all who participated and volunteered including Progress Village Middle Magnet School Band, Orange Grove Middle Magnet School Chorus, AVAST Vets of Tampa Honor Guard as well as men and women who serve at MacDill AFB.  The keynote speaker was Vice Admiral Sean A. Pybus, Deputy Commander, US SOCOM.

Celestar Corporation was recently awarded a contract supporting the office of the United States Southern Command (“USSOUTHCOM”) Chief of Staff. Celestar Corporation, along with our teammate MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) will staff the command’s historian office, as well as provide knowledge management support. Our team will support USSOUTHCOM’s efforts to maintain and preserve historical accounts of USSOUTHCOM activities by documenting contemporary activities, conducting research for USSOUTHCOM principals, and engaging in outreach missions that advance US interests. Additionally, they will facilitate the command’s efforts to ensure USSOUTHCOM is able to systematically collect, organize and share knowledge within in the command. Celestar launches new subsidiary – Celestar International, LLC

Celestar Holdings announced today the launch of its newest subsidiary, Celestar International, LLC. Colonel (Ret) Brian Kerins was appointed as President of Celestar International.

Brian Kerins comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the industry, having spent the last seven years at KBR. Brian is a retired Air Force Colonel with over twenty-five years of service in various capacities with USCENTCOM, USCENTAF. He previously served as the U.S. Defense and Air Attaché at the American Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

Gregory Celestan, CEO of Celestar Holdings states “Brian’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge makes him the ideal leader for Celestar International. Brian and his team have already hit the ground running and are working hard to develop leads for the new company.”

Celestar International will specialize in providing international training, consulting and advisory services for the overseas market. The company is specifically organized to better address the needs of a growing international services marketplace. The Business Development team will be led by Fatah Muraisi, a retired Army Officer who has extensive business expertise in the Middle East. Training efforts will be coordinated by Tony Liberta, a seasoned retired Army Non-Commissioned Officer.

greg-celestan-newsTAMPA, Fla.— Port Tampa Bay is pleased to announce the recent gubernatorial appointment of Gregory Celestan as newest commissioner for Florida’s largest port. Celestan, appointed for a four-year term by Gov. Rick Scott, is expected to attend his first official board meeting April 15.

Originally from Niagara Falls, N.Y., Celestan is founder and CEO of Celestar Corporation, a consulting firm that provides support to the U.S. government and private industries worldwide, headquartered in Tampa. He retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. He was selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Florida in 2010. Some of his local involvements include a seat as a trustee on the board of the Bank of Tampa; member of the Tampa General Hospital Foundation Board and member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay. He is also a Past Chairman of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. He attended the University of Washington and the United States Military Academy at West Point. Celestan’s board term will end Nov. 25, 2017.
