 WID May “Get Informed” Luncheon

Make Difficult People Disappear™ How to Influence Others Who May Defend Their Value or Make You Defend Yours

WID GTB Chapter is pleased to welcome Monica Wofford, CSP, CEO and Founder of Contagious Companies as our May Get Informed luncheon speaker. Monica is the author of several highly acclaimed books, including Make Difficult People Disappear, as well as a renowned business and executive coach. Make Difficult People Disappear gets down to the business of valuable communication, helps you build relationships and understand why and with whom you need them. Difficult people can exist at all levels of an organization and while others may choose to deal with them, you may not feel you have that option. When difficult people are attacking your value or being overly critical and implying that you must defend yourself or prove your worth, there are a number of stressful reactions that can come up. These reactions increase the slinging of labels and can make a bad situation far worse, in a hurry. Make Difficult People Disappear is a powerful session that provides you with, not only the communication and emotional intelligence strategies you need to build, develop and maintain key relationships, but also the guidance in applying these strategies to pivotal relationships essential for your value to be known organizational or industry wide.
