Making a difference in our community

Service characterizes Celestar beyond its loyalty and dedication to mission accomplishments with clients. As a company our mission extends past our "day-to-day" work to encompass service to our colleagues who may be in need and to our communities where we work and live. At Celestar we have an attitude of gratitude toward people and communities of which we are a part. We believe that with a giving attitude, every situation is an opportunity for success, and making a difference is what we do.

The highest reward to us is not what we receive for our volunteer work, but what we become as a result of it. We know first-hand how often a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or an act of caring can have an impact on changing someone's day or someone's life for the better. We believe in making a difference and consistently demonstrating our value of service by volunteering and supporting many non-profit and other organizations in Tampa Bay as well as nationwide.

Every year, volunteers from Celestar participate in Operation Helping Hand's dinner for veterans. The meal is served, waited, and cleaned up solely by volunteers and staff.

Also, every fall, Celestar holds a food drive with all donations benefiting Tampa Crossroads, a rehabilitation center for homeless men and women. In 2010, Celestar sponsored the First Annual Tampa Crossroads Golf Tournament benefiting Athena House, a shelter specifically for homeless, female veterans.

Celestar further supports and donates to Ronald McDonald House, Good Samaritan Mission, Rolling Thunder, and the Spartan West Tampa Youth Football program. We support, attend, and donate to the annual Army Ball, Tampa Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, and Tampa Chamber of Commerce Military Banquet.
